Position Description:

Full Time Research Assistant

Anovax Marketing & Research Consultants, a Hong Kong licensed market research and marketing consultancy headquartered in Shanghai, is currently searching for a Research Assistant to begin working in our Shanghai office immediately.

The role involves working closely with the research consultants and both local and international staff, and therefore the ability to communicate clearly in Chinese and English is a strong advantage.

The successful candidate will gain experience in all facets of marketing research and analysis.

Job Description:

The main duties involve assisting the researchers in the following areas:

• Translate documents including questionnaires, verbatim and respondents' profiles
• Research material preparation such as stimulus materials, concepts and show cards
• Internal department liaison: Assist English-speaking colleagues communicate with Chinese colleagues and vice-versa
• Client liaison: Respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
• Write summary reports
• Prepare research proposals for clients
• Conduct one on one interviews and focus groups (training and opportunity will be provided)

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Education: University/college graduate (Prefer major in English or Marketing)
• Computer skills: have good command of Microsoft Office - Including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Language skills: Native Chinese speaker with very strong written and spoken English skills
• Independent, confident and be able to work under high pressure
• Mature outlook
• Extroverted and outgoing personality
