Title of Position: Trade Marketing Manager
Reports to: Senior Regional Sales Manager
PURPOSE
Independent interface between Marketing, Professional Group, Sales & the Customers (Key Account & Territory /IO Sales)
Process responsibility is to be the strategic arm of Sales
Roles & Responsibilities
Acts as the Channel Expert in TMK function; to ensure the execution of Strategic Business Plan using Trade Management or Business Development Planning Process to make top line sales plan, net sales goals and achieve sales share targets.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
In alignment with overall business and marketing strategies & directions, develop TM strategies & action plans, execute & evaluate TM programs for Key Accounts & Territory Sales
Understand nation-wide Marketing strategies & consumer plans & translate into category management planning, standard operating procedures (SOP), execution & evaluation for Sales
Support the initiatives to develop, produce & execute merchandising in optical shops
Assist sales team on providing sales detailing aids & necessary materials
Manage TM budget
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Marketing/Business is preferred
3-5 years experience of trade marketing or channel development preferred, otherwise sales experience required
Strong implementation & execution skills
Strong strategic thinking & business acumen, good analytics & administrative skills
Excellent interpersonal, written & oral communication skills, able to work with people across different function and levels
Open attitude with strong influencing skills
Strong team player as required to implement cross-functional projects
