Position Description: Working with minimal supervision within the framework of established operating procedures and in close cooperation with internal and external support personnel, provides troubleshooting and maintenance of data servers, user devices, and communications links, as necessary, to assure operational availability. Focuses on both hardware and software aspects of network operations across a single platform LAN/WAN configuration for business and enterprise systems. Assists users in common operational situations requiring a well-developed knowledge of available IT infrastructure and systems.

Key responsibilities:
Coordinate IT operational activities related to 2nd level support for servers, workstations and telecommunications (voice and data) infrastructure and reports and escalates problems/ incidents to 3rd level support in the event that area operations staff are unable to remedy user and infrastructure concerns for Zhangjiagang and Greater China remote sites
Facilitates ITO daily operational tasks of DC employees as well as contractors to meet internal IT client service level agreements.
Understands the China IT infrastructure needs and makes recommendations for upgrades or future business needs.
Assures that adherence to global IT standards, procedures, policies, and processes are followed.

Desired Qualifications:
3~5 years IT service working experience with computer science related educational background.
Well developed verbal and written communication skills both in local language and English.
Strong server, workstation, voice and printer hardware setup, configuration and support skills in a LAN/WAN environment.
Strong Microsoft OS and applications knowledge.
Knowledge of Networking and VOIP technology, including WAN, LAN, wireless, VPN especially HP/Cisco switches/routers implementation and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Data Center technology, including windows server, VMWARE, Citrix, SAN storage.
Effective problem-solving skills, highly developed interpersonal skills, good project management skills and good remote support skills.
