The Company
Gvitech Technologies is the leading company of 3D GIS and Visualization in China, that enable people to effectively work, and communicate in the 3D visualized environment. Its technologies and products include 3D GIS software, 3D Visualization software, Digital Display Systems and 3D Modeling service and so on.
As a corporate strategy, Gvitech has significantly broadened its product offering and increased its presence in the related markets over the last few years and has achieved considerable success. It is the company’s goal to continue its success stories in the China market and develop the oversea market as well. As a result, there is an imminent need to recruit a top caliber Business Development Manager of oversea market.
The Position
Business Development Manager – Oversea Market
Reporting directly to the President based in Beijing or Shanghai, the successful candidate will be in charge of oversea business activities in related territory. Specifically, he/she will be responsible for:
1. Explore the business opportunities in target oversea market such as North America, Euro and Asia Pacific.
2. Develop sales channel and maintaining effective relationships with business partner and major accounts in the related markets
3. Establishing and ensuring pre-determined performance objectives for each distributor and segment of business are met
4. Developing & implementing marketing strategy
1) Devising marketing action plans to stay ahead of market competition
2) Establishing and implementing product marketing strategy, such as product pricing & product positioning
3) Enhancing brand image & business growth through effective management of marketing communication & PR activities
5. Keeping abreast of market development, competitor’s activities and identify business opportunities and trends
6. Identifying new channels as well as channel coverage model to facilitate further business growth wherever possible
7. In light of the ever changing business environment, continuously assessing best business model to optimize go-to-market priorities
8. Establishing and maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance in all dealings with market partners.
The Candidate
The successful candidate should possess but not limit to the following:
1. A graduate from a reputable university, Chinese or expatriate.
2. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales and marketing, and oversea working experience is preferred.
3. Experience in distributor and dealer network management; as well as familiarity with oversea markets.
4. A high energy and result driven leader. Good commercial acumen is a must
5. A strategic thinker and planner who is self reliant and determined, with the ability to transform strategies into actions and ensure their successful implementation.
6. The ability to handle multi-task, manage time effectively and perform under pressure;
7. A positive, mature, team oriented and dynamic person who is hands on, flexible and has a management style that can work effectively with people at all levels; He/She should also be able to command respect both internally and externally
8. Good customer service attitude and excellent influencing skills
9. Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin
10. A person with impeccable personal and professional integrity
