As a member of Oracle Cloud lab team, you will involve in Oracle Cloud implementation and operation, combine the latest Oracle products to Cloud platform, update existing components, and monitor components and services in detail. You will help to diagnostic problems at infrastructure level (Include but not limited: Exadata, Exalogic, OVM etc,.), middle tier level (Oracle Fusion Middleware) as well as application level (Oracle Fusion Application) within Oracle Cloud environment, and meet all customer and quality requirements.



Responsibilities:

- Deploying/Upgrading Cloud platform with new technologies or versions of Hardware, Operating system, Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware and other Oracle applications

- Provide a stable lab environment with high performance and high availability to satisfy Cloud development and testing requirements

- Monitor Cloud environment with Enterprise Manager Cloud Control and diagnostic problems and fix issues efficiently

- Work with Cloud testing team to design/implement system/HA related testing case

- Backup/recovery important component, service, database etc,.

- Cooperate with various team to get products ready for Cloud



Qualifications:

- 4 years+ experience on IT lab management or automation area

- Experience in large distributed or virtualized systems maintenance and monitoring

- Strong problem solving ability with experience of troubleshooting software applications

- Solid experience of Linux/UNIX and virtualized system administration

- Rich Shell/Python/Perl scripting skills

- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision

- Good verbal and written English communication skills

- Strong sense of ITIL/ITSM



Desirable:

- Oracle database (RAC) and/or Weblogic server administration and troubleshooting experience is desirable

- Familiar with storage and network concepts, hands on experience of storage device configuration is desirable, network configuration experience would be a plus

- Java experience is definitely a big plus

- Software Development/Testing/Automation experience would be plus



Education:

- BS or MS in Computer Science­­ or related field of education
