Job Title: Production Engineer

Department: CFT

Reports To: CFT Leader

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Define and manage product development investments for changes in existing products or components
• Contribute to manage budgets (labour efficiency, rework@ customer, scrap, support hrs operations towards CFT (maintenance, opertional quality, etc…)
• Implement customer specific requirements
• Contribute to resolution of Non conformities
• Participate on 8D and problem solving
• Participate on product and component trouble shooting
• Evaluate material and product packaging
• Document and Document control of as-is CAD drawings
• Develop customer specifications into product and component specifications (Design & validate)
• Develop design ideas, design sketches, and undertake initial studies to support design changes coming from customers or internal improvement ideas
• Co-guide the assigned CAD engineers to further develop the assigned requests
• Define and manage the required studies to validate the design concerning mechanical, vibration, noise, tolerance stacks, durability
• Support the proto-type building and line-trials
• Review and verify the as-is product parameters and initiate appropriate actions
• Comply with the internal ECR/ECO procedures
• Provide/modify product documentation for product changes (including update of product FMEA, Control Plan and internal required documents and customer required documents Contribute to Measurement System Analysis and evaluation
• Contribute to the determination of product design and translation of customer requirement to product parameters
• Participate in the design reviews of the project team
• Support the feasibility analysis and developmnet of new product (Prototyping, Line trials)
• Contribute to the product FMEA
• Contribute to the Measurement System Analysis and evaluation
• Contribute to minimalize launch costs
• Define and execute of improvement projects in order to achieve business objectives (including VA/VE initiatives)
• Execute processes compliant with ISO-TS and/or ISO-14001
• Contribute to resolution of Non conformities
• Effectively contribute to defined meetings in the operational Management system within the department to drive performance based on data, rootcause analysis and effective and efficient meetings with stakeholders

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree in automotive or mechanical engineering； 5 years of automotive experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Be familiar with CATIA, UG&CAD.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Fluent in spoken and writing English.
