Job Description:
1.With limited supervision (self starter), plan and execute the Supplier Quality Surveillance (inspection) activities associated with commodities or engineered equipment, systems, or materials in support of project operations.
2.Responsible for planning, arranging, monitoring, and supervising all aspects or Supplier Quality Surveillance activities at the supplier’s manufacturing shop from initial setup and organization to release of equipment for shipment.
3.Ability to review technical documents and ensure work complies with approved procedures and specifications by monitoring / auditing contractors work. Auditor training an asset.
4.Attend and/or conduct Supplier Quality Alignment Meetings at supplier's facilities as required.
5.To generate and submit clear and concise SQS reports within 48 hours after scheduled inspection visit which detail the SQS activities performed.
6.Issue nonconformance reports when equipment / materials are presented by supplier as being complete and are found to be deficient.
7.Travel as required by Assignment's supplier location
Requirement:
1.6-8 years of related experience in performing various inspections of materials and equipment for oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, power and other related industries
2.Working knowledgeable with relevant industry codes/standards API, ASME, AWS, GB, EN etc.
3.Possess AWS/CSWIP 3.1, NACE Level I or II and ASNT level II or equivalent in RT, UT, PT and MT qualifications
4.Good bi-lingual communication competencies (Chinese/English) - oral/ written
5.Technical Knowledge in the application of engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, inspection, testing certification or operation practices, sufficient to comprehend specified requirements is desired.
