Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Department: CFT

Reports To: CFT Leader

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Co-Implement a business plan for the CFT area in line with the overall business plan objectives.
• Contribute to manage budgets (labor efficiency, rework customer, scrap, support hrs operations towards CFT (maintenance, operational quality, etc…)
• Define and manage investments and process cost for new and or existing projects (CAPEX)
• Implement customer specific requirements related to process eng.
• Assure production processes are executed according defined SOP, procedures and 5S discipline
• Contribute to resolution of Non conformities
• Review of the Value stream Map based on production planning and optimize the flow and line balancing accordingly
• Document standardized work instructions and Tempory Rework Instructions (including document control)
• Evaluate material and product packaging
• Co-define and optimize Control plan for Maintenance
• Participate on 8D and problem solving and machine trouble shooting
• Set, monitor and evaluate Process Parameters and Product Parameters (Capability study, trend monitoring and implementation of corrective and preventive actions)
• Provide/modify process documentation for product and process changes (including update of process FMEA, Control Plan and internal required documents and customer required documents)
• Contribute to the determination of process design and translation of customer requirements to process parameters
• Contribute to feasibility analysis, development, validation of new processes (Process Prototyping, Line trials)
• Contribute to process FMEA
• Contribute to Measurement System Analysis and evaluation
• Contribute to minimalize launch costs
• Define and execute of improvement projects in order to achieve business objectives (including VA/VE initiatives)
• Responsible for compliance with safety and environmental requirements (cleanliness & order, work ergonomics
• Execute processes compliant with ISO-TS and/or ISO-14001
• Effectively contribute to defined meetings in the operational Management system within the department to drive performance based on data, root cause analysis and effective and efficient meetings with stakeholders

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree or equivalent; 5 years of automotive experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Fluent in English and or Chinese
