General objective:

To coordinate the sourcing activity between customer and supplier and to monitor the order follow-up to achieve the corporate targets of On-time Delivery Performance, On-time sampling, Claim ratio, Lead-times and Turnover.

Main Tasks:

1.Active support of the buyers during the price negotiation to reach the buyers' targets
2. Prepare and coordinate costing package.
3.Coordinate sample development and production to meet CM/buyer requirements & obtain/make necessary approvals.
4. Monitor and progress each critical stage throughout the order tracking process and make sure each step is properly implement by communicating with buyers and suppliers independently.
5. Assist in sourcing new material and new supplier. If it is approved, hold induction workshop with the new supplier.
6. Actively visit suppliers on a regular basis to keep abreast of their competences and activities.


Qualifications, experience and skills:

1. Higher Diploma in Textile / University graduate; minimum 4 years relevant work experience in Buying Office environment；
2. Having knit or woven experiences is preferred.
3. Sound technical knowledge in garment/yarn construction, washing, cutting, sewing, trims & accessories etc in the respective product areas up to a level to be able to assess production comments/quality and make competent decisions on alternatives.
4. Good experience in costing, sourcing of trims & accessories and production tracking activities.
5. Good command of spoken & written English.
