Automation Manager

Responsibilities include:

• Create back-ups of Kindle Inspection System programs or parameters.
• Design automated Inspection system to increase production volume or precision in high-throughput operations, such as electronic mass production industry.
• Conceptualize automated systems, such as automatic fixture control, autonomous small scale transportation vehicles, advanced displays, advanced sensing, robotic platforms, computer vision, or telematics systems.
• Document application development, maintenance, or changes.
• Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.
• Make system device lists or event timing charts.
• Process or interpret signals or sensor data.
• Provide technical support for automation systems.
• Review or approve designs, calculations, or cost estimates.
• Supervise technologists, technicians, or other engineers.
• Analyze and evaluate systems or prototypes.
• Debug programs.
• Install, calibrate, operate, or maintain automation systems.
• Conduct research on automation technology to create new systems or system capabilities.
• Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of robotic mechanisms, components, or systems, such as planetary rovers, multiple mobile robots, reconfigurable robots, or man-machine interactions.
• Write algorithms or programming code for ad hoc automation applications.
• Knowledge regarding Designing of fixtures is desirable.
• Manage software to control systems for applications, such as manufacturing, transportation & inventory control.

Requirements :
- Preferable Degree in Mechatronics Engineering / Electrical (& Electronic) Engineering / Material Science
- Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience in automation engineering and software decoding & programming.
- Knowledge in SPC/FMEA tools and quality system
- Self motivated, independent, strong interpersonal & communication skills with Optimistic outlook, rapid executioner.
- Industrious and fast-learner with good leadership qualities

- Multi-tasking and work well with pressure in meeting tight deadlines
- Bilingual in English & Chinese.
