We are an Australian owned company based in Changning district in the export of Garments,Fashion accessories and Paper pcakaging. The directors have been in Shanghai for last 7 years and have been dealing with several factories in China.

We are looking to grow our team in Shanghai.

We need an experienced Quality Controller for our office with experience in Knits and Wovens apparel - mainly workwear and corporate clothing. Duties would include the following;

1. Reviewing all development samples, first fit samples, pre production samples and shipping samples with merchandisers and offering them your comments.

2. Taking assignments from the office for in-line and Final inspections by AQL standards at the factories all over China.

3. Visiting factories regularly to check quality of goods and all details required. Also inspection of fabrics would be required.

4. Contacting factories to confirm inspections schedules and planning visits to factories accordingly.

5. Preparing In-Line and Final Inspection reports after visit to factories. Reports to be prepared in English and Chinese.

Qualifications for this positions are;

1. Technical experience with knowledge of patterns, markers and measurements of Mens/ ladies and Children's clothing.

2. Should be familiar with AQL standards.

3. Should be a firm and confident to handle the factories and ensure his/her instructions are followed by the factories.

4. Should be able to communicate in English - both verbally and written.

5. Preference will be given to people with patternmaking background.

We are looking for someone with experience and confidence, at least 3 years experience in garments, with a good level of wrtten and spoken English.
