Key responsibilities:
Capacity management
Lead the control of supplier capacities to be in line with volume plans, for common and unique parts at new introductions and model year change according to Capacity management in Product creation process.
Deliver capacity management deliverables according to gate criteria in line with GPDS
Follow up that supplier capacities are sufficient to enable production of cars according to volume requirements (MPS and LRP).
Lead and coordinate capacity investigations, compile results and prepare decisions based on business case, costs, lead time and supplier capacity.
Support with volume and capacity information on request.
Create and update restrictions.
Lead and coordinate Capacity check meeting’s according to processes.
Secure capacities according to actual customer demand (Production order book) and work proactively to secure capacities accordingly to prevent constraints according to Escalation process step 0 and 1.
Drive initiatives within component area to create expertise knowledge.
Measure and follow up capacity management performance.
Act as subject matter expert in capacity management activities.
Development work
Identify, design and implement Capacity management process improvements.
Identify system needs and lead process initiatives during system implementations/enhancements
Develop and deliver process training.
Develop existing and new metrics and performance indicators.
Plan and perform communication activities to maintain relations with key stakeholders (e.g. PS&VLM, Purchasing, MSS and Order scheduling.

Qualification:
University degree.
Experience from capacity planning, purchasing and supply chain processes
Project management experience.
Experience from process development.
Knowledge of IT-systems concerning commercial and industrial information.
Excellent knowledge and experience in Excel.
Good knowledge of product structure.
Green belt certification.
English and Swedish in written and spoken.
Strong Business acumen.
Ability to build relationships and establish networks at different levels. Communicates clearly and concisely.
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to see the whole picture as well as the details.
Ability to lead and implement process improvements.
Group oriented team player with the ability to lead and motivate others.
High integrity.
Address problems before being asked, thinks through and recommends solutions when raising an issue.
Drive for result and goal oriented.
