Your Role:
As A Project Manager in the China R&D team you will be driving projects with China R&D engineers. You will be responsible for managing HW/SW development projects that includes software, electronics and mechanical development from idea to final product.
The R&D team in China is responsible to develop products for the domestic market. The Project Manager will be responsible to run projects with local engineers but you will also co-operate with sub-suppliers and various team in Axis global organization.
Your Responsibilities:
Work with product management to refine product ideas
Drive normal project management activities like planning, writing specifications and follow up project progress
Communicate with cross teams relative to project development actively.
Look for synergies and dependencies with/on other projects
Dare to set tough, but yet, realistic schedules and inspire the team to succeed
Fight for your project's success and strive to meet tollgate deadlines
Your Profile:
You have at least 5 years of documented project management experience and you are familiar with different project management tools. Hands-on experience from product development(including HW and SW) is considered a merit.
It is important that you are used to work with a large number of stakeholders and have good communication skills. You need to be able to run several simultaneous tasks and implement new ways of working when required in the project.
You are also required to have excellent English oral/writing communication skills and the ability to work in and adapt to a changing environment.
Apart from above experience from following parts are desirable:
Experience of management of parallel projects
Experience of managing complex projects consisting of a variety of competences e.g. Mechanical engineers, HW designers, marketing, operations, SW developers, etc
