Key responsibilities:
As Program Development Leader in Vehicle Engineering, leads and plans complete vehicle's deliveries after transfer from Concept Leader;
Leads and plans the geometry deliveries after Program Confirmed;
Decides activities to fulfill the unit's total commitment according to the technical, time and cost contract between Program Engineering Manager and Attributes Centers;
Reports status at Technical Program Meeting to Program Engineering Manager through Program Status Report;
Leads Design Review Meeting for the program in order to balance requirements and system solutions, within and across attributes both on complete vehicle and system level;
Leads attribute, function and geometry issues at Design Review Meeting;
Runs and operates Technical Program Meeting with the unit Attribute Leaders;
Updates and reports Vehicle Engineering's deliveries in the project plan;
Summarizes and reports program costs within Vehicle Engineering;
Recommends and approves changes and deviations in customer function requirements;
Initiates "task forces" and investigations and also identifies "task force" leader;
Develops and communicates the secrecy requirements of test vehicles;
Leads the block leader's deliveries e.g. Feasibility Check;
Leads geometry balancing;
Establishes Unit Milestone Reports at unit Technical Meeting.
Qualification:
Good practical and theoretical complete vehicle competence;
Good practical and theoretical knowledge in the product, earlier experience in projects and has been involved in full vehicle development;
Leadership experience of people and project management;
Good leadership skills, can easily make new contacts and keep a team together;
Good knowledge in working procedures, deviation management, planning, project follow-ups and financial management;
Good practical and theoretical knowledge in vehicle development process;
Driver license preferred;
Good knowledge in English, both spoken and written;
Good presentation and communication skills;
Structured and meticulous;
Ability to escalate and drive issues until decisions are made;
Ability to independently plan, manage and follow up the team deliveries toward the overall goals.
