We are looking for a talented Sr. Software Engineer to join a team of developing an innovative data analytics product/service by utilizing EMC's Big Data technologies like Greenplum Database and Greenplum Hadoop. Innovation and enthusiasm are very important for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

?Participate in research and design of the end to end data pipeline processing platform.
?Implementing SQL functions to support new feature requests for ELCID.
?Review and optimize current ELCID backend infrastructure.
?Backend tools development, which are used for data collection and loading.
?Participate in code reviews and contribute in test plans.
?Participate in the entire life-cycle of product development.

Education and Experience Requirements:

?Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a renowned university.
?4+ years of working experience.
?Outstanding SQL development experience in major RDBMS (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, etc...), experience with MPP databases (Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum, etc...) is a strong plus.
?Good knowledge on understanding common database technologies, especially familiar with database backend architecture.
?Excellent shell scripting skills (python, perl, bash, etc...) on Linux, familiar with Linux programming environments.
?Outstanding problem-solving skills and sense of innovative thinking.
?Must be able to perform in a team environment as well independently as situation arises
?Must have a passion for building great software
?Experience with Agile development is preferred.
?Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English. Comfortable working with US colleagues.
