HASSELL overview


HASSELL is a
leading International design firm with offices throughout Australia ,Asia and
the UK. We are currently seeking
candidates for our China design studios to undertake a range of innovative
design projects in China Hong Kong and PRC and other locations .
HASSELL offers a collaborative working environment in a boutique design
studio culture.



Role description


We are looking
for an exceptional candidate with proven leadership skills and
conceptual design ability. This position will primarily be based in Shanghai,
but the right person would be required to work closely with our other studios
to jointly help service the specific requirements of our China clients.



Requirements, e.g. skills and
experience


Key Personal Attributes


_Passionate
about design and have the ability to inspire;


_Ability to act
as a positive role model and mentor to others;


_Able to work
under tight timeframes;


_Confident in
putting forward new ideas and in developing design concepts with others;


_Able to work
and interact with other disciplines.



Key Skills and Experience


_Bachelors
degree or above in Landscape Architecture


_A minimum of15
years of industry experience


_Creative design
talent and a commitment to the development of a strong design culture


_Has received
award recognition from professional and/or other organizations


_Has completed a
project where a significant design input was recognized


_Strong skills
and understanding of commercial and financial components of major
developments


_A proven
ability to win and manage work profitably


_Ability to
exercise effective judgment within constrained time scales and resources in
light of competing pressures


_Ability to set
clear standards and expectations and ensure their delivery


_Working
experience in mainland China an advantage
