Other responsibilities includes:

Formed Inventory Management

Responsible for end to end management of formed sulphur including contract creation, planning, orders, execution of delivery and invoicing/payment.
Manage Shell's inland transportation of formed sulphur from the plants to Vancouver as well as formed sulphur inventories in Vancouver at PCT and Van Wharves. This requires daily communication with Supply Scheduler(s), plants, Sultran and PCT.
Participate in the NA S&OP process.
Manage the inventories of the various products produced or handled by Shell to ensure product quality and quantity is available as per the S&OP plan.
Optimize Shell's formed sulphur throughput at Vancouver to minimize any incremental costs and penalties.
Manage all product and stockpile space loans,exchanges and purchase/sales at Vancouver with other suppliers to ensure the product mix and quantity is available for loading each vessel upon arrival. Prepare all documentation for the transactions.
Ensure all transactions are accurately booked in SAP.
Participate in regularly scheduled operations meetings as well as joint service meetings with all parties as Shell's formed sulphur representative.
Provide monthly inventory KPI reporting as required.
SAP Related Activities
Act as the primary Super User for SAP HM within the Canadian Specialities team.
Ensure all inventory purchases and movements are accurately recorded in SAP via TSW Nominations.
Support contract creation process as required.
Create purchase requisitions as required by the business for Marine Freight as well as other spot services.
Role Optimisation & Ad Hoc Support

Responsible to streamline activities within own role to find synergies and create the opportunity to focus on value added activities.
Support the various key projects outlined in the annual Canadian Specialities Business Plan.
Backup Support for Marine Coordinator

Develop a working knowledge of the job requirements of the Marine.
Coordinator role and support these functions during the Coordinator's absence.
The job tasks include:
Liaise with Agents and Brokers on ship loading operations.
Negotiate terms of shipping arrangements.
Review and negotiate all international customers’ Letter of Credit.
Adherence to the Marine Process Model.
Focal point for scheduling and offshore transportation related queries from all stakeholders.
Pre/Post Fixture Administration

Verify and endorse all post vessel fixture documentation,which includes third party statements, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, Certificates of Quality and Quantity and any other documents related to each parcel loaded on ocean vessels.
Ensure all documentation is checked for accuracy and distributed to the respective financial institutions and intermediaries within one business day of receipt.
Ensure that all vessels are properly vetted and that any deficiencies are corrected.


Requirements:


The Supply Scheduler - Export role exists to support the inland and marine operations for the sulphur business in North America with primary focus in Canada. The position manages sulphur inventories, provides analytical and ad hoc support, as well as back up to the Marine Coordinator when required. Additionally, the role has a significant SAP Super User component.

Balancing numerous competing priorities and remaining focused on the value added activities while managing the movement of formed sulphur from inland North America to global ports in a dynamic marketing environment.
The candidate should have:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University.
2-5 years experience in logistics preferred.
Minimum travel required.
SAP experience will be considered an asset.
