Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada

Responsibilities:

· Liaison with control system vendors; Rockwell, ABB and others.

· Provide strong technical leadership to electrical personnel in crisis situations in VFD, PLC related which require root cause analysis approach to troubleshooting.

· Provide project management skills to ensure minor plant control system projects are completed in a timely and cost effective manner.

· Provide VFD and PDMA training to personnel.

· Administer PDMA electrical motor maintenance testing and evaluations.

· Administer Baldor motor website.

· Support any electrical maintenance related issues for projects, engineering, maintenance, etc.

· Plan and execute maintenance tasks for VFD’s, motors and other electrical equipment.

· Review electrical spare parts for MRM and JPM.

· Write and review maintenance procedures.

· Provide critical plant support for VFD’s and motors during and after hours.

Requirements:

· Must have legat authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer

· Electrical Technologist Diploma is an asset

· 2 - 5 years of related work experience

· Strong foundation in preventative and predictive maintenance, as well as possesses superior skills within an area of expertise.

· Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

· Technical specialist for low and medium voltage VFD systems.

· Strong understanding of risk management, safety and environmental issues

· Ability to work with minimal supervision on a variety of tasks.

· Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously with a high level of detail.

· PLC, Device Net and Control Net experience is an asset.
