Staffing Manager:
Location:Hongkong
Job Summary and Mission
This job contributes to Ctrip success by developing and implementing staffing strategies to identify high-quality, diverse candidates for jobs up to and including sr. manager level and other key positions throughout the global. Concentrates on active and passive candidate generation for positions across multiple functional groups or business units. Acts as a staffing subject matter expert. Models and acts in accordance with Ctrip guiding principles.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consults with hiring managers on recruitment and interview process. Consults with hiring managers and department or function leaders on current and future openings, workforce planning and the future state of the organization.
- Creates an effective candidate network. Uses technology and other measures to find new candidates. Systematizes candidates’ information as appropriate. Provides regular communication and value-added messaging to candidate pool.
- Creates and leads special staffing projects and initiatives that affect a function or the enterprise.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to achieve staffing objectives.
- Develops and manages relationships with external parties to build a high quality and diverse candidate pool.
- Engages in timely and appropriate communications with all candidates, hiring managers, vendors, generalists and other stakeholders.
- Identifies focused recruitment campaigns for active and passive candidates and pipelines for future openings and future state of the business. Obtains required position approvals. Conducts post interview debrief meetings to select finalists. Makes job offers, negotiates with candidates and closes offers.
- Proactively utilizes effective passive sourcing strategies in an effort to plan for future openings. Continuously builds and sustains a high quality diverse pipeline of director and manager candidates. Develops and maintains a network of high potential candidates for future opportunities.
Summary of Experience
- Human resources, staffing and recruitment or related functions 5 years
- Experience in a high growth, fast-paced environment 4 years
- Senior level and complex recruitment 3 years
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and writing in English;
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong candidate assessment skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to influence, consult and negotiate
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to interpret and use financial and quantitative data to support business decisions
- Knowledge of employment law;
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, applicant tracking systems and the Internet as a recruitment resource
- Staffing skills, including gap analysis, reporting, measurement, use of automated staffing systems and process development
- Ability to generate top-tier passive candidates
