Position Title: TRAINER / ASSESSOR

Accountable to: Security Manager

Trainers & Assessors are accountable to the Security Manager for:

· The professional delivery of Safety Training, including Project Inductions

· Maintenance of Safety Experience Centre

· Assessment of personnel competency to perform specified tasks or operate specified equipment

· Issue of Competent Person Authority to persons assessed as competent

Responsibilities:

· Delivery of training courses (both theoretical and practical) and management of all associated documentation (ie: attendance lists, assessments) for subjects including

o Induction,

o Safe Work at Heights,

o Confined Space Entry,

o Permit to Work

· Conduct competency assessments (assessing both theoretical knowledge and practical ability) for Crane Operations, EWP Operations, Rigging, Scaffolding, other Loadshifting Equipment and make a professional judgment as to a person’s ability to competently and safely undertake the task / operate the equipment
