E-commerce Software Architect

As the software architect, the selected candidate will be Technical Subject Matter Expert on e-commerce platform and websites. The responsibilities will include:
1) Work closely with account/project team in customer/project meetings to understand abstract concepts and requirements, convert into technical analysis and design documentation, and ensure the completeness of technical solutions proposed.
2) Work closely with e-commerce operation team in daily work to own technical problems, provide practical solutions, and ensure all technical aspects are implemented and deployed correctly.
3) Lead a team of frontend developers and backend developers to achieve the necessary deliverables, and be responsible for the architecture, design & development of key components.
4) Define software design and programming guidelines, and establish the system architecture, taking into considerations integration of various components, identification and mitigation of known technical risk, architectural principles, technology standards and best practices.
5) Monitor and participate in the daily development process: code review, deployment approval, and provide the solution of the problem of the architecture during the development process.
6) Responsible to advise development team on technology/process usage and implementation, and optimize the existing system structure and working process.
7) Takes technical leadership and provide mentorship to other team members.
8) Have active role in several simultaneous projects, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to prepare technical assessments and plans.

Requirements:
1) Over 6 years demonstrated hands-on working experience in enterprise e-commerce applications and software development;
2) Expert knowledge in analyzing, designing and developing e-commerce solutions to highly complex problems;
3) Expert knowledge of programming languages, including frontend languages/framework (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and JS frameworks) and backend languages (.NET or PHP or JAVA), software architecture and databases; Experience with Demandware is a plus.
4) Demonstrated experience designing and developing high traffic/enterprise level web applications with a focus on scalability
5) Superior troubleshooting ability, strong analytical abilities, and drive for results
6) Ability to mentor development staffs while implementing best practices and improve development processes
7) Possess good communication skills and good technical documentation skills in both English and Chinese;
8) Passion for software development and attention to details
9) Able to work in fast paced environment with dynamic projects teams
10) Team work, strong sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial spirit is required. Hard working, stable and can work under great pressure
