Job Purpose (State in one sentence the overall objective of the role)

Strengthen the position of SNAH in China Animal Health industry by :
-providing best technical service to our customers to develop their technical skills
-training our sales people to be technical sales to support sales growth
-promoting our products from technical skills to achieve the sales target

Major Accountabilities (Describe the 5-7 main results of the role to be achieved )

？ Technical communication and influence:
？ conduct technical seminars
？ provide the technical supports onsite to key customers
？ develop and update technical information frequently from fields or overseas
？ write and edit articles for National technical magazine and Novartis Newsletter,
？ Meet the key customers technical needs to tight the relationship and influence positively the customers to use our products effectively.
？ Explore the sales opportunity for all products in the seminars/articles
？ Train sales team to improve the technical competency
？ Exchange the technical information with KIS and ensure KIS activities are in alignment with our strategic decision
？ Consolidate the technical needs from sales people to support the sales growth
？ Support sales team to achieve the sales target.
？ Manages activities of staff by coaching, evaluating performance, defining and assigning re-sponsibilities, providing opportunities for career development, and improving and assessing departmental procedures to assemble a team of professionals.

？ Sales performance
？ Numbers of technical articles published in the National technical magazine; which positively influence awareness of our products;
？ Number of customer call
？ Number of presentation
？ Quality of technical information/presentation


Background (State the required education, experience level, and competency profile)

Education : PhD degree or similar education level
Experience: At least 3 years technical service working experience
Fluent English in writing and oral
Good skill in office software

Shanghai Novartis Animal Health Co., Ltd. (SNAH) is a joint venture invested by Novartis Group (Switzerland) and it's China partners. SNAH was established in 1990 with total investment of .CHF50 million. Headquarter of SNAH locates in Shanghai, and it's 39,000m² affiliated manufacturing plant is in Wusi Farm, Fengxian County. The production lines were formally launched in 1994.
Shanghai Novartis Animal Health Co., Ltd. is the first animal health enterprise been awarded with GMP certificate by Minister of Agricultural in China. SNAH introduces advanced production line, equipment and know-how to manufacture, formulate and repack animal health products. With our complete quality control system, the products are guaranteed to meet both local and international standards. Our products supply to domestic market, and also export to South East Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe, etc. Most of them are re-sale to Switzerland.
