Reports to: Process Engineering Supervisor
Location: Shanghai
Direct reports: None

Works closely with: Product Development, Quality, Logistics, Production, Purchasing, this mainly in China, sometimes in Korea, Japan and with Engineering Team in US and EU.

Purpose of function: Enhancing our growing manufacturing capability

Key Responsibilities:
1. New process and method development during new project development and engineering change, in order to reach customer’s value through innovation.
2. Work together with quotation team in production costing, including packaging solution.
3. Creating and updating PFMEA, PPAP, CP, WI, Records, getting excellent performance in customers’ audit. Keeping CPK, PPK moving upwards.
4. Monitoring and improving tool, process, method to high level 5S, Safety, ISO/TS, in order to keep Production Efficiency/OEE a good trend.
5. Regular Reports according to requirement.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree with major in Mechanical Engineering or polymer processing.
2. At least five years of process engineer or Industrial Engineer experience in either of Plastics/Rubber extrusion, twin-screw/internal mixer compounding.
3. Familiar with ISO/TS.
4. Good in written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English.
5. Good computer skills, including Auto-CAD.
6. LEAN manufacturing knowledge.
7. Good teamwork player.
