Job Description:

Position: Android application developer
Location: Shanghai
Type: Full Time
Start: immediate
Monthly Salary: depending on experience

Primary Responsibilities:

# Design, develop, test and maintain Android mobile applications
# Research augmented reality, GPS, LBS, 2D bar code readers, camera-integration, other "cutting-edge" technologies for use in mobile applications
# Evaluate and communicate technical risk and ensure applications are deployed against a schedule with the highest quality possible

Other Responsibilities:

# Communicate with team to help clarify concepts in order to achieve milestone objectives
# Participate in meetings to share personal ideas on improving processes
# Contribute own ideas for internal projects and guidelines

Work Experience and Education:

# Experience with Android APIs, Frameworks and Eclipse
# 2+ years of Android mobile application development (four or more applications published)
# BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Physics (or equivalent experience).
# English level CET4


Knowledge/Skills:

# Passionate about mobile applications
# Strong object oriented programming and design skills.
# Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
# Intermediate understanding of JSON, XML, SQLite and web services
# Good optimization and debugging skills
# Experience with version control (SVN)
# Ability to work well under pressure and strict deadlines.
# Experience with Agile development practices and philosophies a plus.

About Mobile Now:
We are a mobile solutions development studio, with a focus on custom work across all mobile platforms; whether native, H5 and WeChat, including mCommerce and CRM integration. Set up in 2009; hubbing out of Shanghai, Changsha, Hangzhou and Singapore.
We have a full service mobile team of 50 and provide consultancy through to UX and UI design, as well as development across the key mobile platforms.
