Goals/Mission:

- Participate in and act as Supplier Quality Engineer in selection and qualification of new suppliers together with the engineer and procurement organization. Perform requalification of existing suppliers. Main areas are magnet, magnet encapsulation and other electrical parts etc. for Wind Turbines.

Tasks:

- Send Supplier Evaluation Survey to the suppliers, and evaluate the response.
- Evaluate suppliers' manufacturing quality assurance plan.
- Define, plan and perform Quality audits and re-audits, corrective agreements, first article inspection, etc. according to procedures.
-Prepare audit plans, audit reports and visit reports, prepare weekly and monthly reports.
-Monitor suppliers` process and products, frequent travel to the suppliers.
-Upload and maintain the supplier and product qualification status in ASD, update and maintain the materials QIR status in SAP.
- Review test reports from suppliers and upload to workspace. Update the suppliers quality status and push the continuous improvement.
-Non conformance and 8D handling.
-Develop/qualify electrical suppliers with the commodity team.
-Keep supplier improvement continuously, reduce N-PPM.
-Inspect products according to the requirement e.g. purchasing specifications and drawings.

Education:

- Bachelor degree or above in powder metallurgical engineering including rare earth material or equivalent; Former education as material engineer is preferred.

- 5+ years experience in quality management, supplier quality management or equivalent; 3+ years ' experience in the material NdFeB and the processing of the materials.

- Familiar with supplier quality management methodology and tools e.g. ISO9001, FAI, NCR, 8D…etc.

- Experience of electrical commodities is preferred.

Competencies:

- Good knowledge of relevant GB, EN standards, ISO 9001 lead auditor.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills;

- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team environment;

- Quality oriented, customer focus & business acumen;

- Good computer skills & familiarity with MS Office (WORD, EXCEL,PPT, etc.) ;

- Proficiency in both oral & written English and Chinese.
