- From our SRE, Siemens are looking to recruit Controlling Specialist / Controller. Reports to: SRE Head of Controlling, Region Asia-Australia (SRE AA BA CON).

What are my responsibilities?
Essential Job Functions:
- Commercial / Accounting Center of Competence within Region
- He/She acts in the competence center in the region and must have demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a virtual work environment. He/she supports the countries / clusters in: the annual planning process including forecasting, commercial and accounting topics such as provisions, investment properties, impairments and finance lease etc.
- Performance Reporting & Controlling
- He/She prepares the monthly regional level performance reports including Revenue, IBIT, Capital Spending and Net Cash overview and development analysis. He/She identifies risks and opportunities to support SRE management to steer the businesses.
- Financial and Data quality
- He/She should have a deep knowledge about SRE guidelines, regulations and processes. He/She would prepare the regular data quality review (e.g. CL+, KPI reporting etc.) and lead various data quality improvement initiatives within the region.
- Working cross border
- The individual must demonstrate best practice cross-cultural and cross - country work behavior and effectively work with global and regional counterparts.
Task description
- Actual, planning, forecasting and reporting processes within the region based on key performance indicators, - SAP, CL+ and other systems
- Consolidate AMU and OS figures to Country, Cluster and Regional level, including financials, savings, OTC
- Support decision making of HoRA / HoRA (BA) in regards to central adjustments
- Preparation of monthly financial calls with SRE CFO
- Preparation of quarterly business review with SRE EM
- Preparation of annual business plan
- Central reporting and monitoring of impairments and provisions (database)
- Interface towards SRE AC
- Consolidation/Compilation of bottom up enterprise risk reports
- Cost-center planning, controlling, and reporting of the regional organization

What do I need to qualify for this job?
Education/Qualification
- 10 years of professional experience, controlling budgets in excess of $10 Mio Euro
- 7 years in significant Real Estate functions with a focus on business administration, accounting or controlling fields
- BS/BA in Finance, accounting or business, MBA or advanced real estate or advanced degree preferred.
- Additional language skills preferred but not required (German, Chinese)
Skills
- Advanced understanding of Corporate Real Estate business
- Excellent communication skills in a multi-cultural environment
- Must have demonstrated ability to effective engage with colleagues to build/foster relationships

- This position is for a role in the SRE Region Asia-Australia (SRE AA) Controlling team. The candidate must have advanced experience with business administration as it applies to corporate real estate disciplines. He/she will be an individual contributor and is responsible for regional planning, controlling and reporting topics in the regional HQ.
