职位描述

Qualifications:

· --B--BA in Engineering, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or similar

· -33-3-5 years work experience in multinational company

· --P-Past evidence of leadership progression and increasing responsibility a must

· -Hi-History with Lean and Six Sigma education and implementation, certification is a plus

· -Le-leadership of continuous improvement teams with significant results

· -Fl-Fluent in Mandarin and English

MM Major Responsibilities:

· --Li-Liaise with project / GEO engineers to implement new capital project in production area.

· --C--Coaches and supports employees in lean and six sigma principles and methodology. Ensure that operators have the background knowledge in these principles in order that they can effectively engage with the Area Improvement Team.

· ----T-Teach workout lite process through Area Improvement Team activities.

· --M--Maintains SOP’s, BOM’s and routers to an acceptable level in order that the operation runs to plan while minimizing quality issues.

· --E--Ensures productivity metrics such as uptime and throughput are visible on the shop floor and deviations to standard are being actioned.

· --- ----Ensures that router timings are correct to real running conditions in order that OTIF is maximized. Will be measured via the router effectiveness metric.

· --F--Facilitates and leads Productivity Area Improvement Team in continuous improvement activities through the use of lean and various engagement tools (including kaizen, workout, 6S, etc.))

· --L--Lead execution of incremental process improvements (e.g. waste and First-time-Right) by actively engaging horizontally, vertically with all levels.

· --T--Take corrective action to address process deviations and identify root cause to prevent recurrence.

-Responsible for providing technical leadership and support to ensure that currently defined processes meet or exceed work cell’s target in terms of SHE, quality, productivity, efficiency and cost.

-Responsible for the creation and implementation of procedures and specifications used in the production of Graphite and Glass Prepregs used in the Aerospace Industry.

-Lead incremental improvements initiatives to optimize existing processes through Productivity Area Improvement Team.

-Establish and maintain control of process metrics and data such as cycle time, productivity, uptime, yields, etc. to ensure existing processes are in control.

-Provide direct engineering support to production to ensure that product is running within SOP/PCD and to the desired quality standards.

-Plays a lead role to ensure that process safety obligations are met include maintaining of safety file, lead/participate in PHAs and MHAs, PCAT, MOCs, PSSR’s etc.

-Maintain and manage router effectiveness metric, BOMs, routers, scrap, yield, and other aspects of product configuration.


Business/Technical Skills:

· --I--Individual must have strong problem solving skills.

· --M--Must demonstrate the ability to clearly define problems and use logic to systematically solve problems.

· --A -A strong operational background is required. Practical and effective improvement implementations are required on existing production processes.

· --K--Knowledge of quality control systems, ISO or AS9100 is expected.

· --M--Must be able to effectively interface and understand the company ERP system (BaanV) and be able to support the transition to SAP and utilize SAP.

· --M--Must demonstrate leadership skills. This position will have subordinate engineering staff, particularly as it relates to coaching, mentorship, project support, etc.

· --I--Individual must have strong analytical skills, including the ability to use excel and statistical software to analyze data, present findings, and make recommendations.

-History of work experience in Chemical Processing Facility

-Be familiar with such engineering tools like SPC, DOE, PFMEA, SOP.

-Rich experience in product transfer, new product line setup and high volume production.

Education Required:

-Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent.


Education Preferred:

· --Si-Six Sigma Training, Lean Manufacturing Training a big plus

· --E--Expectations are leadership among engineering department, go-to person.

· --N--Next logical career path step is Production Manager (PAL) or Engineering Manager, then Site General Manager.

· --N--No internal candidates or candidates from other internal groups considered.
