SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION:
This position handles all the application related sales support work for Buehler China sales team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1、Prepare metallographic and hardness test sample and generate qualified sample preparation report for customers, as well as for internal/COE demo purpose;

2、Demonstrate equipment, consumables and sample preparation in Buehler/TMS/COE labs to the customers visit;

3、Generate and develop sample preparation methods for the customers, as well as for demo purpose;

4、Conduct on-site application training at customer site;

5、Maintain the Buehler central lab in Shanghai and implement internal training for both sales and service teams of metallographic sample preparation and hardness test;

6、Host training courses for customers in the central lab;

7、Participate in the marketing activities, such as seminars, workshop and exhibitions; make presentations and demonstrate the equipment/consumables;

8、Translate the brochures, technical documents, and other internal and external documents;

9、Generate the presentation files for products of turning features into benefits and comparison between Buehler and competitors’ products;

10、Describe and summary the customers problems and solutions to the application team leader on a monthly basis;

11、Report on time of the work in a weekly basis (Customer Visiting Report, samples preparation reports), as well as in other manners of reports, to the Application Team Leader;

12、Use company’s CRM system with all related customer information. All the fields must be filled at all times with correct and true information;

13、On-going improvement of material knowledge and understanding of new techniques;

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor or Master degree of Materials Science or Metallurgy;
Fluent written and spoken English

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
3~5 years of working experiences in the metallographic lab;
Good understanding of the metallographic/hardness test sample preparation philosophy in the industry environment;
