Major responsibilities:

1. Evaluate and qualify new suppliers in China/Taiwan in line with the commodity strategies, develop and optimize the supplier pool

2. Implement procurement strategies for different product categories in aspect of technology trend, supplier analysis, pricing and development, and meanwhile eatablish the bench-marking;

3. Negotiate contracts and cost break down with suppliers;

4. Maintain partnership with supliers by creating a collaborative and open relationship;

5. Build a competitive network of quality suppliers throughout China/Taiwan and develop Preferred Suppliers to meet future requirements;

6. Develop strategies together with operative purchasing and SQE to improve suppliers' KPI performance;

7. Monitor deliveries in terms of timeliness, support SQE to resolve quality issues for new and existing items;

8. Perform sourcing in line with the commodity strategy to meet project targets;

9. Partially be responsible for the operational procurement of a range of product materials for pumps & valves and commodities including "on-the-shelf" products, electric motors, etc. in China/Taiwan;




Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering from four-year college or university;

2. Owning professional know-how in procurement ;

3. Fluent English in both speaking and writing;

4. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks;

5. Judgment skill and commercial awareness;

6. Able to work under pressure and strong desire to achieve aggressive targets;

7. Around 5 years' advanced purchasing experience working in multinational manufacturing environment, pump and/or valve industry preferred;
