职位描述

Position Summary

- Plan, develop and deliver professional development, leadership development and organizational development initiatives to ensure the university develops and retains the talent needed to achieve strategic goals and objectives;

- Plan and lead university-wide performance management process;

- Plan, develop and implement online learning that addresses university-wide training and professional development needs.

Responsibilities

- Plan, develop and implement online learning and classroom training that address university-wide and unit-specific training and development needs. Assess and determine the quality and content of training including course design, instruction, program evaluations, training materials and learning reinforcement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving goals and objectives of the organization;

- Plan and develop scripts for online training, and use authoring tools to develop online training. Test training in Learning Management System;

- Plan and deliver organizational development interventions. Consult with department/unit leaders on organization design and effectiveness, team, organization, and business issues, talent development and leadership development;

- Design and deliver open enrollment and unit-specific training and development solutions to enhance leadership and managerial effectiveness and compliance with university policies and guidelines;

- Select outside consultants and programs and evaluate their effectiveness;

- Manage the design and implementation of performance management tools, techniques, and training across the university. Develop and ensure delivery of training that helps managers conduct performance evaluations and discussions. Provide tools, resources, support and training to support employee career development and progression. Provide 1:1 career development coaching to employees;

- Contribute to Human Resources special projects and Talent, Learning and Organizational Development initiatives. Other responsibilities as assigned.




Required Qualification

- 5+ years of progressively responsible professional level experience in the design and delivery of training and development programs;

- Proven administrative, supervisory, team building and group facilitation skills, ability to communicate/function in an academic environment across levels of staff including senior leaders;

- Excellent writing and editing, and interpersonal skills;

- Strong influence, communication and negotiation skills required to influence employees and managers to address performance issues and development opportunities;

- Excellent OD and process and team facilitation skills;

- Knowledge of performance management and organizational development tools and processes;

- Preferably Master's degree in Adult Learning, Psychology, Human Resources Management or related field;

- Preferably with exposure and experience in Learning Management Systems and e-learning tools and processes; familiar with 360 tools, coaching methodologies, and diagnostic tools such as DISC, MBTI, FIRO-B, etc.
