The M&S Manager will play a critical role in the development and implementation of overall Marketing & Sales strategies, working alongside the LRQA Regional/Area/Business Managers, and to set M&S targets/objectives & drive performance of Marketing and Sales personnel.
This position will either be located in Beijing or Shanghai.
Key Responsibilities:
* To identify new business opportunities via market/competitor intelligence, and investigate the required external and internal efforts to realise the potential.
* To propose the business cases for the identified markets, and formulate the Marketing and Sales strategy and implementation plans which define the S&M channels and resources
* To participate in and contribute to the formulation of business strategies and business plans. Develop, and manage the marketing & sales plans.
* To monitor the key regulators' policies, and market trends, and build the relationship with the key stakeholders.
* To promote company's products/services through participating/organizing events conducting Sales visits, using digital marketing and other means to achieve the business growth targets.
* To direct & drive the Major Account programs to increase "up" and "cross" selling to major accounts [highest value and most loyal clients], and their supply chains
* To optimise the market communication channels to meet the business/cluster case requirements
* To provide and manage the Marketing & Sales key performance metrics for Management Control.
* To manage and motivate direct line reports to achieve or exceed KPI's and people performance targets whilst maintaining compliance with our company practices, procedures and processes.
* To continuously improve business performance via staff development and identification / retention of key high potential and high performing employees
The successful candidate:
* Degree qualified preferably in Marketing
* Proven managerial experience in managing a team of Marketing and Sales people for at least 8 years
* Good understanding of the management systems assessment, verification, commercial training and/or advisory market (preferred)
* Familiar with budgetary and financial information. Ability to define and monitor Marketing & Sales budgets
* Ability to look and think "outside the box" joined with capability to translate the emerging opportunities into new service/product potential and/or new Sales opportunities
* A self-motivator with excellent effective skills in communication, negotiation, presentation, staff motivation and interpersonal abilities with any external organization including senior executives. A strong commercial awareness is essential.
* Written and spoken Fluency of Chinese & English
