JOB SUMMARY:
？ Provide System Management and Administration functions;
？ Participate in project planning, co-ordination & implementation activity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
？ Share experience and Manage System service vender / team to maintain all systems;
？ Systems Administration (User Profile Management, Sanctions to Services, etc);
？ System Services Availability Monitoring and Administration (Ensuring System is up and operating, check alerts or logs when required, etc). Ensure the required service standards and high availability of systems are met requirements;
？ System Load and Capacity Monitoring and Administration (Housekeeping, Quota set-up, etc);
？ System Contingency Administration (Service Recovery, Alternative Service Route, Contingency Testing, etc). Participate in regular (at least twice a year) testing of system recovery to achieve high level of system preparedness;
？ System Security Monitoring and Administration (Security Breaches, Reporting, etc);
？ System Upgrade Administration (Hardware and Software upgrade, program movement / version upgrade, patch/fix installation). Work with SITO Technology Solutions team where necessary;
？ Participate in Project Implementation activity as required from time to time;
？ Assume Help Desk duty as specified in Help Desk Process;
？ Participate in stand-by duty rotation for data centre alert troubleshooting;
？ Provide Guidance for End-Users Troubleshooting;
？ Review staff work distribution constantly and reassign accordingly. Coach relevant staff as back-up where appropriate;
？ Reports on Administration and Monitoring Procedures Performance;
？ Responsible for inventory and all documentation of relevant systems under his / her charge;
？ Adherence to IT Governance and Procedures at all times.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
？ Manage local rollout of regional projects / systems;
？ Participate or lead local/regional projects;
？ Perform user requirement gathering, system analysis, programming, testing and implementation support (including UAT support);
？ To liaise with external vendors in terms of work/service deliverables;
？ Prepare relevant system / implementation documents. Provide or work with vendor on effort estimation and solution proposed where required;
？ Coordinate day-to-day service desk support to ensure that the required service standards are met. Perform tasks to ensure high availability of systems;
？ Participate in regular testing of system recovery to ensure high level of preparedness;
？ Adhere to IT Governance and Procedures;
？ Prepare relevant IT reports for management.
REQUIREMENTS:
？ Possess a Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or any related discipline;
？ Minimum 5 years of working experience in the following skill sets, preferably in an insurance industry;
？ Working experience on Microsoft, IBM AS400, Cisco, Information Security management is preferred;
？ Possess good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills;
？ Able to work independently and willing to meet challenging targets;
？ Willing to adapt to new IT process and procedures.
