English/Mandarin Speaking Technical Service Representative

SUMMARY
Manadrine & English speaking Technical Service Representatives provide molecular biology protocol support to customers via e-mail and telephones. This is an entry-level Technical Service position; training and career development will be provided.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

? Assist customers in choosing appropriate reagents and optimizing protocols.

? Works with Japanese distributors on product selection and technical troubleshooting to ensure customers' satisfaction.

? Translating marketing materials and other texts.

? Demonstrates confidence and poise when dealing with customers, peers, and managers. Works effectively as a team player, supporting and cross-training other staff members to ensure the highest levels of customer support. May assist in training other staff members.

Candidate must have a scientific background with a Bachelor's Degree in biology or a related life science discipline. Prior technical service and/or lab experience preferred, but not required. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must. Bilingual in English (written and verbal) is a must.

Japanese or Korean language skill will be a plus.
