SUMMARY

To provide training, direction and guidance to factory and factory support personnel in the Eastern Hemisphere producing product for Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co. and its Affiliates. To be a liaison between corporate offices and the manufacturing facilities concerning the areas of assigned responsibility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, and any other duties assigned. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

• Provide training and support on lab dip, production bulk, and shade band procedures
• Provide training and support on the Dickies Quality Auditing Tracking System
• Provide QA College training to manufacturing
• Assist Global Sourcing and Affiliates in new factory start-ups concerning Global Quality Assurance
• Manage final box audits and processes
• Weekly reporting
• WD USA Global Sourcing
• Affiliates
• Assist in implementation of Affiliate QA procedures
• Administrative duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Self-starter that possesses initiative, strong organizational skills, and analytical skills.
• Experience in working and performing related tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Detail oriented and able to multitask in a constantly changing environment.
• Travel could be 25-50%.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 - 5 years working in apparel industry, preferred quality assurance/quality control background or degreed engineer.

SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE:

• Microsoft Office Suite

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Must speak Mandarin and English.
• Ability to effectively present information in a professional manner.
• Ability to read, interpret, and respond to verbal and written instructions, correspondence, and memos.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to perform essential job duties including standing or sitting for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
