职位描述
General purpose of position:
- Sourcing new supplier for new design Mechanical parts.
- Sourcing new supplier for current Mechanical parts for cost down and better quality.
Description of duties and responsibilities:
- Converts and interprets engineering requirements of Mechanical components for sourcing to local suppliers.
- Evaluates local supplier's productivity, quality and technology plan through product development and sourcing cycle.
- Coordinates with cross functional team in selection of suppliers in the localization cycle.
- Develops supplier to supports the new product development and smooth transition into production.
- Supports supplier management team led by Sourcing manager.
Skills and abilities needed for this position:
- Minimum 5years above experience as sourcing/purchasing engineer in an international company.
- Good communication skill in both Chinese and English.
- Good computer skill & Problem solving skills.
- Good knowledge for ISO 9000.
- Experience in souring of heater resistance material, sheet metal, Machining, M-E parts is preferred
Education and training needed for this position:
- B.S degree majored in Mechanical engineering
- Sourcing or purchasing experience plus
- Project leader experience plus
