JOB DESCRIPTION
The Database Engineer will report to the IT Manager, he/she will be responsible for designing, developing the internal reports with the tools of SQL & Excel. Ideal candidate will have the additional Oracle database knowledge & experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Develop the internal business reports in Excel and further web format with Access & SQL,
b) Maintain the SQL & Access database,
c) Design, architect and implement scalable database solutions,
d) Design and implement complex queries and database stored procedures with SQL, Especially SQL AS, IS & RS development,
e) Develop the internal business reports in Excel and further web format with Access & SQL.

REQUIREMENTS
a) At least 5 years experience in SQL database systems and programming,
b) Familiarity with the Oracle database & Oracle Weblogic solution,
c) Expert on SQL project development, include AS, IS, RS,
d) Expert on MS Excel, including the Excel formula & macro,
e) Junior college or above in Computer Science or equivalent,
f) Have strong desire to learn new concepts and technologies,
g) Strong communication and inter-personal skills,
h) Following are the plus:
? Familiarity with Oracle RAC technology,
? Familiarity with Linux shell scripting,
? Exposure to data warehousing and data marts,
? Good English in reading & writing.
