The Senior Finance Analyst role supports the plant manager and operations team of the Nantong plant and associated business units.The analyst role is responsible for preparation and analysis of manufacturing costs and financial performance as well as making sure accounting rules are followed. The position will work to identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and improve financial results.


Cost Analysis:

· Partner with operations leadership to understand plant financial results and drive profitability.This includes monthly reporting of Nantong costs .

· Provide cost analysis and insight to the sectors and business units supported by the Nantong plant


Work closely with Six Sigma team to actively identify and drive Variable Cost Productivity projects.
Support the Engineering team on capital projects related to Finishing plants.
Perform ad-hoc analysis as required



Financial Planning:


Coordinate weekly manufacturing cost reviews with Operations team and communicate outcome and variances to the Operations Finance manager and BU`s.
Coordinate all planning cycles, including annual operating plan and other short range estimates. Prepare analysis, reports and estimates to support regular financial reviews and all business planning requirements.



Accounting/ Compliance:


Coordinate month-end closing activities for plant related costs. Make sure that the accounting rules are followed in his/her area of responsibility.

· Coordinate compliance activities, including SOX documentation, audit support, physical inventory, account reconciliations, etc.


Your qualification and competencies:


Strong accounting / financial analysis skills
Excellent communication skills – demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environment
Demonstrated ability to meet work and project deadlines producing high quality output
Excellent prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables
Excellent influencing ability to meet/exceed business expectations
Fluency in English and Chinese required

· Strong PC and systems familiarity; excellent MS Office Suite skills

· Experience in manufacturing setting desired


· BA/BS degree in accounting or finance or equivalent

· Minimum of 5 years finance experience in an industrial finance / manufacturing setting
