职位描述
The Operation Manager shall be responsible for the daily management of the planning, monitoring, reporting, and documentation of all tasks / projects performed, utilizing the employees and resources provided by the company.
More than 15 years working experience on working in heavy industry especially in steel manufacture as shop management.
The Operation Manager will report directly to CEO and will coordinate their activities with all other department Managers.
Key task and activity’s that shall be performed are as follows:
Production Control System - evaluate the current system and policies, forecast resources required, prepare and document policy, and training staff to successfully maintain and improve the system to be utilized
Planning and Scheduling – coordinate with the Engineering Manager, Project Managers, Purchasing, Quality Assurance groups, to assist the Shop Manufacturing Manager in assigning and prioritizing work assignments to efficiently organize workers and utilize all available shop hours to achieve the project schedule deadlines as established.
Document Control – coordinate with the Engineering Manager the receipt, recording, and issuance of shop assembly and sub-part drawings to the Shop Manufacturing Manager, inclusive of all “hold sheet” and revisions drawings.
Materials – coordination with Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality Assurance in the receipt, traceability, warehousing, authorization to use, nesting, and cutting assignment of all materials. Additionally assist, Shop Manufacturing Manager in the reconcile and forecasted requirements for consumables and other machinery maintenance purchases.
Progress Status Monitoring – daily collections of all shop hours utilized by work activity classification accurately and collect status of individual work packages to determine currently percentage completed, and forecast and report to the Project Manager any delays or foreseen events which may affect achieving schedule deadlines.
Shipping – coordinate with Shop Manufacturing Manager and Shipping Manager to insure that packing list are prepared, submitted, and archived.
Reporting – provide on a weekly and monthly basis a Shop Hours Report noting all shop hours utilized by project, noting project percentage completed and hours used by worker classification to CEO, Financial Manager, and Shop Operation Manager. Prepare final project report noted final hours, tonnages, and archive all project documents at completion of project.
Meetings – participate in weekly Project Management Meeting with CEO and other department managers.
Employee Evaluation - assist the Human Resource Manager in the evaluation of candidates recruited to work under your scope for responsibility and perform annual evaluations and mandated by the company policy.
Equipment – Coordinate with equipment manager to make sure all equipment under good working condition.
Language Requirement: English/Chinese
