Job Description,
Incumbents apply in-depth knowledge in a specific area of specialization. Work is performed within established professional standards and practices. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors and a considerable degree of judgment. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may have a negative impact on the divisions operations, schedules, and/or performance goals. Works under minimum Supervision. Seeks approval from others on matters outside of job/role scope. Receives instruction on specific assignment objectives and possible solutions. Unusual problems are solved jointly with manager. Work is reviewed for application of sound technical judgment. May lead a work group or project team consisting of technical and support staff. Builds internal and external relationships, with emphasis on those that facilitate the achievement of job/role accountabilities, such as relationships with key suppliers, customers and internal service.
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
1.Prevents problems through assuring robust systems, consistent compliance and proactive problem solving.
2.Ensures that system(s) and processes meet industry standards (e.g. TS16949, JEDEC) and customer requirements while driving toward world class" practices and standards.
3.Supports SPC implementations and monitoring consistent with EIA557-A and JESD 50A
4.Leads development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of system(s) and processes that ensure that product and process changes are implemented in a correct and timely manner.
5.Monitors quality metrics and goals to drive quality improvement efforts.
6.Performs quality auditing, benchmarking and testing, working to identify areas for improvement, developing/modifying programs that measure the quality of product, and processes and drive corrective actions/quality improvement efforts.
7.Distributes reports that track defects as product is assembled and tested through the plant, and defect information about products that have failed at a customer
Job Requirement,
1.Strong knowledge of state-of-the-art quality systems including Six-Sigma
2.In-depth knowledge of quality metrics, ISO, IPC and JEDEC standards, and processes
3.Knowledge of software and its uses in generating reports, capturing data, and presenting data in an understandable format
4.Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes and electrical test.
5.Knowledge and understanding of the business processes and how decisions impact customer satisfaction, product quality, and on-time delivery
6.Demonstrated ability in the use and application of SPC/DOE/FMEA and other problem solving methodologies
7.Ability to lead a team and coordinate resources to meet production quality metrics
8.Ability to accomplish tasks through influencing others.
9.Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers and/or suppliers
10.Good written and verbal English communication skills
11.Ability to use some or all of the following PC applications: MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, MiniTab

Experience and education required
Minimum five years' relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in related field, e.g. BSEE, Materials Science, Physics, Statistics
Working Conditions
Standard office environment with computer workstation
Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required
Moderate level of stress
Laboratory environment for product/material testing
