Be responsible for developing test equipments for production line. Focus on either software programming or mechanical fixture design.

Major Responsibilities
? 1. Provide local competence for building up functional testers and ICT testers of production test equipment in planning, building, programming, validating, maintaining and managing testequipment.
? 2. Write test software (typically C, C++, Lab Windows CVI) to a good standard employing best practice principles ensuring integrity of the test system and of the product.
? 3. Provide mechanical concept design and solution of equipment fixture adaptor with suppliers
? 4. Select, coordinate and supervise local equipment suppliers and fixture supplier in testsystem projects
? 5. Consult with project development team and production engineers in regard to testsystems
? 6. Manage and administer the HKG testsystem standards at the Asian locations according to GE-OT guidelines
? 7. Validate and obtain approval/sign-off of test equipment in accordance with department/company procedures and 'best practice' with documentation covering
? 8. Produce and maintain test equipment timing plans to ensure the delivery time of test equipments meet project milestone.
? 9. Conduct acceptance verification test when the test equipments are available in production line.
? 10. Optimize and improve the performance of test equipment to achieve the goal of cycle time, FPY and down time requirements.
? 11. Calibration, measurement system analysis, risk assessment, maintenance schedule, spare parts.

Key Competencies
? 1. Fluent in English and Chinese
? 2. Software skills, typically C, C++, Lab Windows CVI, to a good standard
? 3. Good electronics and software skills, or mechanical fixture and adaptor design skill.
? 4. Automotive electronic product knowledge
? 5. Experience in production test equipments
? 6. Familiar with manufacturing process
? 7. Knowledge of In-Circuit Test, Functional Test and Flash Station
? 8. Understanding of Statistical data for Gage R&R.

Education and Experience
? 1. Bachelor degree or above in electronics engineering, software engineering, or equivalent academic credentials.
? 2. At least two years experience in software programming, or in mechanical fixture adaptor design.
