Job Title (Internal): Remanufacturing Engineer-Servo Motor

Work Location: JQD/Shanghai/China


Position Summary
Provide for the availability of equipment, processes and re-manufacturing capacity for the production of Rockwell Automation products. Ensure that the re-manufacturing processes provide the highest quality product at the lowest cost. Ensure that customer delivery commitments are met. Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities
? Insure that remanufacturing process successfully accomplishment.
? Improve processes applying lean techniques and engineering principles
? Identify and implement manufacturing cost reductions and productivity improvements
? Research, develop and document new and existing manufacturing processes.
? Assist in the layout of new production lines including material flow patterns.
? Support the growth of the facility by ensuring seamless transfer of products from other facilities into the Shanghai facility.
? Ensure seamless implementation of engineering change notices.
? Identify and pursue product design changes to improve manufacturability based on engineering knowledge
? Assist with procurement of manufacturing equipment, supplies, or materials
? Apply continuous improvement techniques to processes involving customers and suppliers
? Fully support remanufacturing team to finished remanufacturing work and task.
? Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
? Bachelor of Science in Mechatronic, Motor other related technical degree.
? More than 2 years of motor or servo motor assembly or remanufacturing/repair engineering experience.
? Practical ability is a must.
? Servo driver application experience is a plus.
? Project management experience is a plus
? Automation machine commissioning experience.
? practical ability
