DESCRIPTION:

Functionally reporting to Shipping Manager in Dublin, Ireland and administratively report to the Director of Operations, Asia Pacific, this position is primary responsible for the planning and coordinating the shipping and logistic activities management in Asia regions in an well-organized, timely andcost effective manner and to ensure the logistics practices of the Company and its suppliers are in compliance with the Company’s policies as well as local government regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work closely with internal departments, suppliers and external customers to ensure daily logistics in a timely, accurate and cost effective manner.
• Monitor, on daily basis, the distribution of production components, inventory and Humanscale products to suppliers and / or external customers in Asia /Middle East Regions.
• Handle full set of import & export documents, invoices, banking documents, Origin status Certificates in Asia for Export to Asia /Middle East. Regions and to ensure all necessary formalities and statutory Trade/Customs Requirements are followed through.
• Consolidate the shipping / delivery schedule of various regions or suppliers and determine the best logistics solutions for the Company to achieve cost-efficiency and on time customer order fulfillment.
• Liaise with forwarders and 3PL on freight rates, insurance claims and transportation arrangements including large order Door/Door project Management.
• Develop a performance management system (KPIs) to review and manage the overall performance of external forwarder / 3PL.
• Regularly review and negotiate the better business terms with forwarders and 3PL to lower the overall logistics spending.
• Closely communicate with sales team and sub-contractors suppliers on the latest and expected delivery schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistic, Business Administration or relevant discipline with at least 7 years experience in supply chain / shipping field. Exposure in both in-houseand 3^rd Parties Logistics experience is essential.
• Strong problem-solving and excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Familiar with all Import / Export INCOTERMS, Asian statutory regulations (e.g ASEAN Form E) and taxation arrangement for Free Trade Zone & import processing trade in PRC, exposure in Asia regions will be an advantage.
• Excellent in written and spoken English with the ability to effectively interact with all internal functions, customers and suppliers as necessary.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, detail-minded and able to work under pressure.
