Coordinate with Commercial team to maximize product line profitability.
Develop and execute price policy and margin management to ensure the balance of profit target and market competitiveness.
Support commercialization of T&O.
Support product related processes in conjunction with global initiatives
Collect and analyze market intelligence (raw materials, competition and market demand) in Asia for business team
Drive a positive ongoing process to challenge low margin and/or low inventory turnover products for growth or discontinuation.
Optimize and maintain a product grade cost database that incorporates up and through costs.
Work with the Business Manager & Marketing Manager to develop market price strategies
Understand and update the dynamics of feedstock, customers, competitors (direct and indirect) and market segments monthly within AP and provide right tactics and policy for pricing and margin development.
Provide pricing recommendations to sales team. Send approvals to price administrator.
Track sales performance vs. budget on a monthly basis and provide corrected actions.
Provide mid- month assessment of current sales vs. forecast and provide corrective actions.
Drive profitability for Global PSR through analysis and determination of "best fit" for production across the Global manufacturing grid.
Utilize a portfolio management process to propose (to the regional business manager) appropriate product decisions to achieve target margins
Provide sales team timely and updated overview about the market and related downstream industries, competition and its activities through market intelligence report or feedback from market
Coordinate with other regional Product and Supply Chain Managers to ensure the best global overall supply solution for the business (product transfer/import model)
Primary business interface with the Supply Chain to optimize total delivered cost.
Coordinate and ensure Supply Chain, Logistics, and Price Administrator to support customer requirements at a right level performance
Provide support and corrected action for commercial trouble shooting i.e. customer claims or dispute etc, and track follow- up & actions
Rationalize and standardize Product Data Sheets following global format
Product line rationalization (simplification of the number of SKU's)
Active participation in the PCM / TSR Process (with suggestions for equivalents or rationalizing) for inquiries from commercial operations
Work closely with the marketing manager to identify and commercialize T&O’s and other projects. Recommend distribution channel.
?Degreed Professional (Type of Degree/Major less important than work experience)
Minimum 5 years work experience
Thorough knowledge of business and internal capabilities. Strong analytical capability. Ability to stay calm in face of problems and impending deadlines. Degree level education. Broad background (Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial)
