Overall Purpose of the Role
Provide continuous improvement and support to the ASC organization in driving enterprise accounting processes/services, SAP systems, and overall ASC efficiencies. Responsible for the delivery of technical and operational improvement solutions and co-managing projects with Stakeholders, Disney Enterprise Systems and Continuous Improvement Enterprise partners. Provide Analyst support and project assistance. Implement process improvements across all ASC processes, ensure internal/external compliance requirements are addressed, provide analyst support to the operational functions, provide training, SOP’s and “hyper-care” support, and support compliance monitoring and reporting to operational, executive, controllership, and LOB customers. Position reports directly to the Assistant Manager, Continuous Improv/Compliance.
Areas of Responsibility
?Monitor and assist with ASC compliance, including Transaction Processing and LOB/Market Finance teams, with all applicable statutory regulations and Company policies/procedures
?Project resource to support strategic initiatives / special projects to drive productivity and value for TWDC/WDI/DWSS
?Provide consulting on challenges/risks/questions related to in-scope processes, policies, enhancements and reporting by directly partnering with ASC team, LOB or Market Finance teams and/or DWSS leadership
?Assist with monitoring and maintaining minimum control standards (MCS) and internal controls documentation for the ASC
?Assist and support internal and external audit efforts, including the completion of any related data extraction tasks, and the testing of key internal controls
?Consistent and successful delivery of projects with high customer satisfaction
?Enable strategic business objectives through the investment and delivery of enabling technology
?Deliver quality solutions that provide desired business benefits and/or solve business problems within established timeline and budget
?Special complex projects as assigned
Areas of Accountability
?Accountable to Assistant Manager, Continuous Improvement/Compliance for all areas of responsibility and overall customer satisfaction
Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
?Written and verbal English proficiency
?Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related major
?2 years of continuous improvement & quality related experience with a minimum of 1 years finance/accounting experience in a large organization
?Working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
Experience and Professional Qualifications Desired
?MBA, Master’s of Accountancy or equivalent
?Experience working in a shared services environment
?Working knowledge of MS Access, MS Visio, and MS Project
?Entertainment and Media experience
?SAP system knowledge?
