职位描述

General Summary
The Project Accountant’s primary responsibility is to monitor all daily projects accounting operation and monthly PA module closing, make sure all project related controls are implemented and effective, and assist Greater China PA supervisor to conduct financial analysis for project P&L.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities (PDR)
1. WIP (work in progress) Review
a. Distribute Midmonth WIP Report to Survey, Engineering, and Project Management.
b. Review WIP by Task report at least three times a month for the following.
i. Ensure the budgeted Forecast Hours remains updated in GEMS.
ii. Ensure Project Plans are being submitted timely. If Project Plans are not being submitted timely, consult PA manager and Division Management.
iii. Ensure the budgeted Forecast Revenue remains updated in GEMS.
iv. Ensure the task owning org is accurate for task within a division.
v. Ensure the original budgeted hours and revenue is accurate.
vi. Canceled / Suspended projects are reviewed and reported.
c. WIP Top 10 with loss explanation updated per month.
d. WIP Journal
I. Final WIP is prepared and submitted to Division Finance Director for approval
II. Update WIP related analysis & the explanation for >$100k differences between Original and Current Est. projects (WIP US$100K Gap Report)
e. WIP MORF
2. Monitor NCMM, SAC, Engineering, and Vendor projects.
3. Project Related controls
a. Work Order Review
b. O2K vs. IRF
c. Unreported Timecard Monitoring
4. Perform Cross Charge per month
a. Generate cross charge invoices and interface to AR as service provider
b. Interface cross charge invoices to AP as service receiver
5. Input actual revenue, forecast revenue, actual cost, IC cost, current estimated profit on Order Book. Sent out Survey Man hour allocation report per month.
6. Perform Project Accounting monthly closing
a. Interface Draft Revenue to GL
b. Interface AP to PA
c. Interface timecard and unreported time to PA and GL
d. Close and open PA period
e. Identify labor and revenue exceptions and correct
7. Review PRM package.
8. Coordinate with internal/external audit for project accounting related matters.
9. Ad Hoc analysis requests.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (KSAR)
1. Bachelor degree in Financial or Accounting.
2. At least 5 years working experiences of Financial Accounting, Costing or Project Accounting.
3. Considerable experience with Project Management, Costing, Budgeting and Internal Control.
4. Good skill with ERP, Excel and other office software. Oracle experience is plus.
6. Knowledge of PRC and US GAAP.
7. Understanding of internal controls concepts and practice
8. A good command of the English language and Chinese as needed.
9. Good communication skills, team spirits and be willing to work under pressure. Working well in a teaming environment with others is essential.
