Job Assignment:

- Handling samples and performing testing in accordance with test instructions and laboratory quality Guidelines and procedures;

- Ensure proper receipt of samples, recording, labeling as efficient as possible;

- Improve related test methods and develop new test method according to the official standards under supervision;

- Maintain analytical instruments, such as UPLC, UPLC/MS and etc;

- Notify abnormalities in work;

- Overall housekeeping, sample bottles and containers cleanliness and disposal;

Job Requirement:

- Major in Chemistry or relevant background, college above;

- More than 1 year's lab testing experience. First hand operating experience of LC and LC/MS;

- High general competence in chemical testing area;

- Good knowledge in ISO 17025 requirement;

- Strong PC-skills, including MS Office and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System);

- Good interpersonal and communication skills;

- Be quick learner of new technology and have great passion to learn;

- Self motivator, Customer focus, Team work spirit, Curious about new technologies and tools;

- Good command in English.

IKEA Test Lab & Training Centre (ITTC) is located in Fengxian district of Shanghai, one hour away from IKEA Shanghai Xu Hui store. Combined with a training centre for IKEA suppliers as well as our own co-workers, ITTC is the first IKEA owned test lab outside Sweden.
We provide top competence in various areas and the needed test capacity to achieve our high goals for quality, healthy and safe products for our customers.
