Work on the software ecosystem (include Linux communities, Vxworks, QNX and file systems) with a main focus on micron embedded product enablement , file system solution development and validation.
In this position you need to work closely together with the
- Product development and system hardware team
- APAC technical support include field application engineer
- Software ecosystem partner (OS-vendors, file system vendors, programming Equipment vendors, internal software groups within Micron)
- Software development team of micron embedded customer
You are working to enhance the performance and value of the memory system by optimizing software including the flash file system, firmware, and original equipment manufacturer ("OEM") and/or chipset vendor’s system software. Communicate with OS vendor, push micron software patch on latest operating system release. Provide software ecosystem trend and requirement to product architecture and development team to build compelling solution.
The job requires getting a deep understanding of the customers system and performs system level test, validation (SW compliance to datasheets) and system benchmarking. The position requires a close cooperation with the system hardware engineer on the local team and the related software ecosystem partner and software development team of our customers.


Education and Qualifications:

? University degree in Computer Science or related major.
? Minimum 3 years solid experience in android/Linux application/kernel/driver development.
? Understanding of embedded Operating systems and Firmware include Linux and android.
? Experience in C/C++ and assembler programming, emulators and simulation tools.
? At least one of the following domains experience is must:
o Porting Android/Linux to new embedded board /system
o Knowledge or experience of file system is plus.
o Knowledge or experience of memory product including NOR, NAND, eMMC is plus.
o System performance, stability tuning and optimization.
? Strong oral and written English skills is plus.
? Good team work and communication skills (internal and external)
? Good at problem analysis and resolving.
The person reports to the APAC system engineer manager.
Domestic and international travelling will be required.
