Responsibilities:
Test Labs
- Equipment/Test lab operation (equipment management, meeting test schedule, timely generation of accurate test reports).
- Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or material engineering with 5 or more years’ experience, master’s degree with at least 2 years’ experience in the labs.
- Must be a self-starter and should be willing to take on added responsibilities in other laboratories.
- Limited travel may be required-some overseas training may also be required.

Qualifications:
Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry /material engineering or related field. Advanced degree is desirable.
- Knowledge of test operations and laboratories with emphasis on HPLC, plastic bulk material characterization, fastening analysis would be a plus.
- Understand various technical standards, familiar with properties of material used on cars.
- Experience in problem investigation and root cause analysis
- Experience with GM process, systems and standards is desirable

Skills:
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal communication skills to effectively lead, motivate, and facilitate others in group situations and instruct others in new techniques
- Highly proficient oral and written communication skills in Mandarin and English
- Basic PC skills, email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Proficient in math data access and interpretation

Experience/Education:
- 5 or more years’ experience, master’s degree with at least 2 years’ experience in running a test lab
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or material engineering or related field. Advanced degree desirable
