Job Summary:
Veeva China is looking for a high-energy, driven Sales Director to build and manage a highly competitive sales team. You should be a proven leader who has demonstrated capabilities in creating and executing sales strategies, developing effective sales team and sales processes, managing sales forecast and revenue target, and engaging with senior management of customers. You will direct the sales team to grow Veeva into a leading SaaS solution provider for life sciences industry in China. You will experience the excitement of working at and growing with a dynamic, fast expanding company where you can make a difference.
Responsibilities:
Build a winning sales team by hiring, training, and mentoring industry leading sales personnel
Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales strategy that will maximize revenue growth
Lead the sales team to generate sales opportunities, manage complete and complex sales cycles, and meet revenue targets
Provide regular forecasts and analysis to enable accurate planning
Develop and implement operational processes that support organizational objectives. Create metrics to measure and optimize sales performance.
Direct the team to build strong customer relationships and create satisfied customers.
Evangelize value proposition of Veeva solutions and services to C-level executives and other senior management at customers.
Required Skills:
8+ years of experiences with successful track record in selling enterprise software solutions or IT services
4+ years of experiences in developing and managing sales teams to meet sales target successfully
Demonstrated ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
Demonstrated strong leadership, management, motivational, coaching and performance tracking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English. Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers
Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Self-motivated with entrepreneurial drive.
BS or higher degree from top universities
Local to Beijing or Shangahi area, with right to work
Nice to Have:
Experiences in selling into pharmaceutical and bio-tech organizations in China is highly desirable
Experience in selling into both multi-national and local Chinese businesses is a plus
Knowledge in CRM solutions and/or SaaS technology is desired
