1.Take technical review to marketing requirement document and clarify technical issues with product manager and sales
2.Assist project manager to estimate tooling and BOM cost for business case approval in project earlier phase
3.Provide concept and details designs of mechanical module/system within cost and timing target
4.Develop 3D models of new product and generate the engineering drawings with specifications, prepare related technical documents and BOM
5.Communicate with global design team on new localized product regarding design, manufacturing and testing
6.Work with other teams on prototyping, pilot production and qualification of mechanical parts according to DVT/PVT test plan
7.Work with project manager to deliver new product on time, at targeted costs and in high quality
8.Work with vendors to source and evaluate purchased components and with manufacturing to produce or assemble manufactured components and assemblies.
9.Detail engineering and suggest improvements in design to save cost on sourcing and manufacturing
10.Diagnose product problems in the field, assess & implement corrective actions and provide related technical support to commercial team and customers.

1.Minimum Bachelor Degree in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering.
2.At least 8 years' working experience of mechanical product design and development.
3.Good knowledge of common engineering materials and corresponding manufacturing technology especially plastic injection, machining, sheet metal, casting and powder metallurgy.
4.Knowledge of exit devices, locks & other architectural hardware is required
5.Good Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) Knowledge and Design for Manufacturing/Assembly (DFM/DFA) Knowledge
6.Grasp commonly used 3D CAD design tools. Pro/Engineer is preferred
7.With strong innovation skills and problem solving skills
8.Fluent spoken and written English
9.Team player with good interpersonal skills
10.With positive work attitude and work on assigned task independently
